An excerpt of Governor Murphy’s “State of the State” address at Rowan University. Isaiah Showell spoke to some members of the audience to get their opinions after the presentation concluded.

GLASSBORO, N.J. — Governor Phil Murphy delivered a “State of the State” address at Rowan University on Tuesday, Oct. 22. There, he touched on a variety of topics including education, jobs, taxes, and transportation.

The event was sponsored by the Rowan Institute for Public Policy & Citizenship and marked Murphy’s second visit to the campus this month. View the video above for an excerpt and follow-up interviews produced by Isaiah Showell.

Gov. Murphy spoke about many topics that have been part of his platform since he took office, including: women’s health, immigration issues, family leave, gun safety, and more.
