Atlantic County Animal Shelter Lowering Adoption Fees for Cats and Kittens During ‘Purricane Month’ Promotion

PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. — Looking to adopt a cat or kitten? The Atlantic County Animal Shelter will be reducing the regular adoption fee to help increase pet adoptions for the rest of the month.

Starting Sunday, Sept. 15 through Monday, Sept. 30, the Purricane Month Promotion will reduce the regular $85 adoption fee to $25.

The shelter offers felines of various ages and temperaments, many of which are already neutered or spayed and available for immediate release to eligible adoptees. Shelter adoptions include age-appropriate vaccinations, diagnostic testing, a microchip, and a free veterinary consultation.

The Atlantic County Animal Shelter is open seven days a week from 1 to 4 p.m., except for Tuesdays when it closes at 3 p.m. The shelter is located at 240 Old Turnpike Road in Pleasantville.
