
ABSECON, N.J. — Dress as your favorite superhero and put on some walking shoes for the second annual Superhero Walk & Roll in Absecon this weekend.
The walk will take place on Saturday, August 10 at the South Jersey Field of Dreams from 9 through 11 a.m. The Superhero Walk & Roll features a 1.5-mile walk, food, horseback riding, bounce houses, face painting, and more for the whole family.
The event is sponsored by the Champions Club of Egg Harbor Township. Proceeds from the walk will benefit local children with special needs who go to Champions Club in Egg Harbor Township, as well as Champions Clubs worldwide.
Normal registration is $20, $5 for children ages 3-14, and free for ages under 3 as well as for all children with special needs. All ages are invited to participate. You can register online at championsclubwalkfs.org. Day-of registration will begin at 8 a.m., followed by the 1.5-mile walk at 9 a.m.
