
CLAYTON, N.J. – The fourth annual Disability Employment Job Fair and Resource Event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Gloucester County’s Clayton Complex on Friday, July 26th.
To help prepare job seekers with effective resume, social media techniques, and job fair strategies, free workshops will be offered on Thursday, July 18th from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and Tuesday, July 23rd from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Both workshops will be held at the Gloucester County Adult Center for Transition (ACT), Room 121, 530 Salina Road, Sewell. Participants only need to attend one workshop and registration is required to attend the workshop by calling 856-384-6963 or online at www.gcwdb.org.
“Everyone who is able deserves the opportunity to have a job. This Disability Employment Job Fair and Resource Event will help match qualified job seekers with potential employers in an environment that takes away barriers,” Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said in a press release.
Freeholder Heather Simmons, Liaison to the Department of Economic Development said that the event has successfully provided job seekers and potential employers an opportunity to meet and network.
“Traditional job fairs are a great way for employers and job seekers to connect and this is no different. Job seekers have had great success over the past four years gaining employment through this event and we anticipate that at least another twenty-five individuals will be hired again this year as a result of this event,” Simmons said.

“This job fair has proven a positive experience for all involved. It is a way for employers to find skilled employees while also showing job seekers that they have a lot to offer,” Freeholder Jim Jefferson, Liaison to the Department of Health and Human Services, said.
The job fair is sponsored by the Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
Clayton Complex is located at 1200 North Delsea Drive. Parking is free.
